Mission Statement

All schools within The Ninestiles Academy Trust are committed to delivering the following mission statement:


Ninestiles Academy Trust will be nationally and internationally acknowledged as a high achieving, innovative and exciting group of schools which recognise and respect the richness and diversity of their communities. The trust will be structured and resourced to meet the needs of 21st century students and pupils. Within a caring environment, we will develop and reinforce the values, skills and attributes which promote good citizenship and lifelong learning. Parents, Directors and Governors, and the wider community will work in partnership with our committed, appropriately skilled workforce and our students and pupils, to ensure that high quality learning takes place. Outcomes will be outstanding.

Visions & Values

Our visions and values are at the core of everything we do. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.


At Yarnfield we believe in community, a sense of belief and a commitment to excellence. We encapsulate these beliefs in three key words, our vision, on which our foundations, focus and aspirations are built.



Should be a life long journey of discovery, of new experiences and opportunities. Our lives should be lived in a secure and nurturing environment. We should feel valued and value others no matter what their background, appearance or disability. We should celebrate the past, live for the present and look forward to the future. At Yarnfield we look to lead children along that journey, preparing them along the way for the next stage, the next challenge, the next memory.



Begins with the confidence that you can! It is our responsibility to ensure that every child at Yarnfield believes that they have the ability to learn and the self-assurance to solve problems and overcome difficulties. We must inspire and enthral, so that children develop a desire to learn that is borne out of the magic of discovery. Learning must be relevant so that children see a reason for new skills and knowledge and can celebrate the feeling of achievement and be proud of a job well done.



Our school days should be filled with joy, excitement and fun. We must ensure that we promote an environment of mutual respect and of humour; an environment that stimulates and excites; a school where we are confident to smile ahead of our challenges and positively address our mistakes; a school that our community is proud to call its own.
