On Wednesday this week the children enjoyed a lovely walk to Acocks Green Library. It was a lovely afternoon and we had a great time reading some fantastic stories with our families. We asked how many books the library had and the librarian told us there were around 42,000 books in the building! We didn’t have time to read all of them but we found lots of different books about some things we like – trucks, princesses, a naughty cat, and even the Gruffalo which is one of our favourites.
A big thank you to the parents and staff helpers who joined us too – the children really enjoyed being able to share the experience with everyone! Also thank you to Mrs Spiers who led the way – otherwise Miss Feeney would definitely have gotten us all lost!
